An AU version based on this fic.
Short version of the AU: Luke's fonon separation from after the Tower of Rem was worse than previously thought. He can no longer travel with the party and is receiving treatments for it in Belkend in the hopes that he might be able to serve as backup when the party finally goes to Eldrant to battle Van/free Lorelei.
